Guam's salt air destroys metal. Fast.

Every day your asset sits untreated, salt, humidity, and UV accelerate corrosion. What starts as surface rust becomes structural failure — and replacement costs that dwarf preventive maintenance.

P.01

Salt-Air Corrosion

Guam's marine climate accelerates rust 3× faster than continental U.S. Untreated metal degrades visibly within months.

P.02

Coating Failure

Cheap paints peel under UV and salt. Once water gets under the coating, corrosion spreads beneath the surface unseen.

P.03

Replacement Costs

A $15K blast-and-coat job extends a $150K asset by 15+ years. Skipping it means full replacement in 5.

02

Full-service surface restoration

From sandblasting and dustless blasting to ISO 12944 protective coatings — every service designed for Guam marine climate.

What clients say

Feedback from project owners across Guam.

Master Blasters blasted and recoated our 50-ton crane in 12 days. Zero downtime, zero dust complaints from the terminal. The coating still looks like new 18 months later.

— Operations Manager, Matson Navigation Guam

We had 47 ground support units needing full restoration. Master Blasters handled the entire fleet — blasting, priming, and topcoating — without disrupting our flight schedule.

— GSE Manager, United Airlines Guam

Our water tank was 15 years old and rusting through. Master Blasters blasted it to bare metal and applied a 20-year epoxy system. It passed AWWA inspection on the first try.

Frequently asked

Straight answers about process, pricing, and what to expect.

Yes. We offer both traditional dry sandblasting and eco-friendly dustless blasting. Dustless blasting mixes water with recycled glass abrasive inside the blast pot — the water suppresses dust, cools the surface (preventing warping), and cleans the substrate in one pass. For projects where dry blasting is required, we use containment and HEPA filtration. Both methods produce a clean, anchor-profiled surface ready for coating.
Most projects take 3–10 days depending on size and condition. A single piece of heavy equipment: 1–2 days. A marine vessel: 5–7 days. Infrastructure like tanks or bridges: 7–14 days. We provide a fixed timeline in your quote.
Yes. We are WOSB and HUBZone certified, with UEI RMWJCD99G2C9 and CAGE 12GL0. We have experience with military and federal contracts and can provide all required documentation.
Coating systems carry manufacturer warranties of 5–20 years depending on the system specified. We also provide a 2-year workmanship warranty on all projects. Documentation is provided at project completion.
Yes. We are EPA Lead-Safe certified (RRP) and OSHA competent for lead and asbestos abatement. We handle containment, removal, and disposal per all federal and Guam EPA regulations.
We schedule on-site assessments within 48 hours of contact. Most projects begin within 1–2 weeks of quote approval. Emergency corrosion situations can be expedited.
